Fresh mushrooms, the larger the better - washed and trimmed
Red wine - 1/4 inch in bottom of pan
1/2 stick butter
Salt and pepper generously
1/2 tsp. allspice

Simmer about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve hot.
