CHOCOLATE TOPPING FOR ICE CREAM 
1 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
Dash of salt

Mix well, then add 1 cup of hot water (milk can be used, but topping must be kept in refrigerator). Stir until smooth. Bring to a boil. Boil 10 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat; add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
