KENTUCKY CRESCENT COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
1 lb. cream cheese
4 c. flour
Confectioners' sugar

Cream together butter and cream cheese. Cut in flour. Pat, not roll, dough to 1/4 x 3/8 inch. Cut into crescents using the edge of a biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until tips are slightly browned. Roll in sugar when hot then again when cooled. 1/4 of recipe makes 6 dozen cookies.
