PEACH BETTY | |
1 can (1 lb. 14 oz.) sliced peaches, drained 1 tbsp. juice 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4-1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 c. melted butter 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 4 c. corn flakes, crushed fine Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter an 8 inch baking dish. Combine peaches, peach liquid, lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour into baking dish. Combine brown sugar, butter, nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir in cereal crumbs. Spread evenly over peaches. Bake 25 minutes or until slightly brown. Serve warm or cool as dessert or breakfast treat. |
