CHICKEN POT PIE | |
2 (10 count) cans biscuits 2 c. boiled chicken, cut into sm. pieces 2 c. frozen mixed vegetables or 1 can mixed vegetables 1 onion, chopped 4 ribs celery, chopped 1 can cream of chicken soup Salt & pepper to taste 4 tbsp. butter 1 c. chicken broth 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning Cook frozen mixed vegetables until tender in small amount of water. Saute the onion and celery in butter until tender. Mix all the vegetables together; add the chicken, soup, broth, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour into a casserole dish (9 x 13 inch). Bake for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Partially bake canned biscuits. Place on top of pie and finish baking until they are brown. If the biscuits are not partially baked first, they will be raw on the bottom. Serves 6. |
