24 HOUR VEGETABLE RELISH 
1 can French style green beans
1 large can LeSeur peas
1 can white shoe peg corn
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. vinegar
1 jar chopped pimento, drained
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. onion, diced

Drain the green beans, peas, and corn. Place the salt, sugar, oil, and vinegar in 1 tablespoon of water in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Pour this marinade over the vegetables, mix well and refrigerate for 24 hours. Drain the marinade from the vegetables and add the pimento, green pepper, celery and onion. Mix well.
