TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Sift together flour and sugar. Boil butter, cocoa, and water; pour over flour and sugar. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and eggs. Pour into greased 11 x 16 inch cookie sheet with at least 2 inch sides. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Boil butter, milk, and cocoa. Add 1 box powdered sugar and pecans. Mix well and frost cake.
