GREAT SCOTT BARS 
4 c. 3-minute oats
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine oats, brown sugar, butter and corn syrup; mix well. Press in top of a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 350 degree oven or 4-5 minutes in microwave. Cool slightly.

Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a glass dish and microwave 1 minute (Can melt in double boiler on range top.) until melted. Spread over baked layer, cut the bars before completely hardened. Refrigerate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
