MEATLOAF FLORENTINE | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, diced 1 c. bread crumbs 1 med. green pepper, diced 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 6-8 slices bavarian ham 6-8 slices Mozzarella cheese 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed 1 jar prepared spaghetti sauce Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, green pepper, eggs, and milk. Roll meat mixture out flat on a floured surface approximately 1/2 inch thick. Wring excess water form spinach and sprinkle on top of meat. Add layer of cheese. Add layer of ham. Roll mixture together like a jelly roll. Place in glass roasting pan with seam down. After one hour add spaghetti sauce over top of meatloaf. Cook another 15 minutes. |
