MY CRUSTY CHEESE CAKE 
CRUST:

2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. pecans
6 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)

FILLING:

1 lb. cream cheese
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar

CRUST: In a blender or processor, blend oats and pecans until the combination is a coarse powder. Combine crust ingredients and press into 8-9 inch pie plate.

FILLING: Cream the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 to 45 minutes until top is golden and middle of pie is set. Serves 8-10.

OPTIONAL VERSION: Process 2 apples plus 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread over crust before filling.
