RAINBOW GLASS CANDY 
1 3/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. white sugar syrup
1/2 c. water

Boil in saucepan to 290 degrees on a candy thermometer.

In 3 small glass or metal bowls, measure 1/2 teaspoon flavoring and a few drops of food coloring. Quickly pour 1/3 of candy into each cup. Stir and quickly pour into lightly greased cookie sheet, with sides. Cool pan until bottom of pan is a room temperature when touched. Drop pan on counter and candy will break, like glass.

To clean equipment, place water 1/2 full in saucepan from above cooking. Place in all equipment and boil on high until equipment is clean.
