3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. water
Flavoring as desired
Flavored oil

Cook together in 4 to 6 quart saucepan to 300 degrees about 35 minutes. Add flavoring (1 teaspoon oil or 1 small bottle), a few drops of coloring (food dye).

Pour into 2 buttered cookie sheets. Let harden then break with hammer. Dust pieces with powdered sugar. Shake off excess in sifter.
