MAMMA TARR'S PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. sliced beef (round or sirloin steak strips)
1 lg. onion, sliced
2 tbsp. oil
Soy sauce
2 green peppers
1 lg. can plum tomatoes with juice
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Salt and pepper

Saute beef strips in oil with salt and pepper and onion slices until lightly cooked. Add sliced green peppers. Saute 3 minutes more. Add tomatoes with juices and dissolve bouillon in mixture. Add 2 tablespoon soy sauce. Allow to simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Add cornstarch to 1/4 cup of the liquid and mix to paste. Add to skillet to thicken. Serve over rice.
