ITALIAN SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT
SAUCE
 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped pepper
30 oz. tomato sauce
24 oz. tomato paste
1 (6 oz.) can chopped ripe olives
3 oz. Italian spaghetti sauce mix
2 or 3 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano leaves
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 bay leaf, crumbled

Cook first three ingredients until meat is brown and onion is tender. Combine the remaining ingredients with meat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Cook 1 to 2 ounces dry spaghetti/person, as directed on package.
