BUTTERSCOTCH DESSERT 
Prepare each layer separately. This is a four layer dessert.

1ST LAYER:

Blend and mix together for the crust:

1 c. flour
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Press into a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and let cool.

2ND LAYER:

8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Mix all ingredients together and place on cooled crust.

3RD LAYER:

2 pkgs. instant butterscotch pudding
3 c. milk

Follow directions on package and spread on layer two.

4TH LAYER:

Cool Whip
Chopped pecans

Use any amount of Cool Whip desired and spread on third layer and sprinkle with nuts. Place in refrigerator overnight and slice into squares.
