1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Boil until clear. Remove from stove and add one 3 oz. package strawberry Jello for strawberry pie or use raspberry Jello for raspberry pie. Pour over top of berries. Enough for a 9 or 10 inch pie.
