MOM NAGLE'S ICE BOX PUDDING 
2 pkg. lady fingers
4 eggs, separated
1/2 lb. German sweet chocolate
3 tbsp. cold water
3 tbsp. sugar

Melt chocolate, sugar and water in pan (double boiler works well). Add well beaten egg yolks and then well beaten whites. Line loaf pan with split lady fingers. Pour in some chocolate mixture. Another layer of lady fingers, then a layer of chocolate, etc., ending with lady fingers on top. Refrigerate overnight; serve topped with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
