SPINACH AND MUSHROOM SALAD 
1 lb. fresh spinach, washed, drained
1/2 head Romaine lettuce, washed, drained
3 canned pimientos, drained, cut in thin slivers
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Pinch of sugar
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/3 c. salad oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. cheese & garlic croutons

Mix together spinach leaves and lettuce leaves that have been torn into generous bite size pieces. Add all other ingredients except croutons. Toss well. Just before serving add croutons, toss lightly. Serves 6 to 8.
