SAUERKRAUT 
2 med. cans sauerkraut, drained
1 pkg. ham hocks (or diced bacon)
2-3 med. apples, peeled & sliced
2 tbsp. sugar
1 onion, cut up

Cook ham hocks 1/2 hour, then add the rest of ingredients and simmer until ham hocks are done. Tastes better when reheated.
