BAKED SCALLOPS IN CREAM 
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 slices of bread, crumbled
12 Saltines, crushed
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. scallops
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. heavy cream

Mix onion, bread, Saltines, thyme, salt, and pepper. Put 1/2 the scallops in buttered casserole. Cover with 1/2 the crumb mixture. Repeat. Pour cream and butter over all. Microwave on medium 12-15 minutes, or bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
