GRANDMA'S BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add mashed banana and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Makes 1 (9 inch) loaf or 2 (7 inch) loaves. Increase baking time if using a large (9 inch) pan.
