"TURKEY STUFFING CAKES" | |
16 slices bread, cubed 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. thyme 1 c. onion, chopped 2 c. celery 1/2 c. butter 1/3-1/2 c. turkey stock (more if more moistness desired) Mix bread and seasonings. Saute onion and celery in butter. Add to bread, mixing well. Moisten with stock. Form into small cakes. Put onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned. Yield: 9 cakes |
