A SPECIAL COLE SLAW | |
1 lg. head of cabbage, or 1 bag chopped cabbage 5 sliced green onions 2 pkgs. Ramen Noodle Soup (discard soup base) 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1/2 c. butter 1 sm. pkg. slivered almonds DRESSING: 1 c. salad oil 2 tsp. soy sauce 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar Chop the cabbage and onions, and chill. Break up the noodles, quite well, and brown in the butter with the sesame seeds and almonds, until light tan in color. Blend the dressing ingredients. Just before serving add the fried mixture to the dressing, and then mix with the coleslaw and onions. |
