CHEESECAKE COOKIES 
1/3 c. melted butter
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Mix brown sugar, flour and nuts together in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter and mix until crumbly with hands. Remove 1 cup of mixture to be used as topping. Place remainder in an 8" pan and press firmly. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes (until crisp). Beat cream cheese until smooth with 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla. Pour into baked crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Return to 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool thoroughly, then cut into squares.
