CHINESE BARBECUE SAUCE 
2/3 c. soy sauce
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. garlic
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Bring to a boil the first 5 ingredients. Add the cornstarch and water. Let cool.
