DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE 
2 1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. cornstarch
3 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. plus 3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
2 c. plus 3 tbsp. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Sift into large bowl the flour, cornstarch, sugar, cocoa, salt and soda. Add butter, buttermilk, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees until done.
