SOUR CREAM FRUIT PIE 
1 unbaked 8 to 9-inch pie shell
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
2 c. fruit (blueberries or sliced apples)

PIE CRUST:

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour, saved
3/4 c. Crisco
1/4 c. cold water

Beat together cream, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and egg. Add fruit. Pour into pie shell. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 cup butter and sprinkle over top. Bake 20 minutes more.

PIE CRUST: Cut shortening into flour and salt, until crumbly. Mix saved flour with water and add to flour mixture. Shape into ball, cut in half, roll halves out to fit pie pan. Makes 2 crusts.
