BEAN AND BEEF CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can Pork & Beans
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. onion, minced
1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Green pepper, chopped fine (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown beef and drain well. Stir in next 5 ingredients and green pepper. Heat until bubbly. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cut biscuits in half. Put cut side down around edge of casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
