CHOCOLATE BOURBON BALLS 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. bourbon
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Sugar

Place chocolate morsels in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in bourbon and corn syrup. Set aside.

Combine crumbs, powdered sugar and pecans; mix well. Stir into chocolate mixture; let stand 30 minutes. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Yield: 5 dozen.
