PEPPER STEAK
2 lbs. round steak (or whatever cut you prefer)
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. water
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. oil
1 clove garlic, minced
Red, green, and yellow peppers, cut into strips
Rice

Cut beef into thin strips, removing all fat. Mix together cornstarch, water, soy sauce, and oil. Pour over beef strips and marinade at least 4 hours.

Brown garlic in a very small amount of oil in skillet or wok. Add beef and marinade and cook over medium-high heat, stirring, until beef is cooked through. Add peppers and continue cooking until heated through and tender-crisp. Serve over rice.

This recipe sounds too simple to be good, but the marinade is what makes it delicious!
