BRAISED BEEF WITH NOODLES 
1 1/3 lbs. beef
4 tsp. flour
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. onion, chopped
1 c. boiling water

Cut meat into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Roll in mixture of flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Brown in shortening. When meat is brown, add onion and cook 5 minutes longer.

Add water and cook slowly (covered) for 1 hour, or until tender. Arrange on warm platter, 3 cups noodles around outside edge, peas around them and put meat in center of platter.
