FRENCH BEAN CASSEROLE 
3 slices bacon
1 onion, chopped
2 cans French beans
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1 tbsp. caraway seeds
1/4 c. slivered almonds

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, saute onion in drippings. Add beans. Cook 20 minutes. Mix mushroom soup and cheese with bean mixture. Put into buttered casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. When almost done, sprinkle with crumbled bacon, caraway seeds and slivered almonds. Bake 5 minutes more.
