RICE DRESSING 
1 lb. hot sausage, cooked & drained
2 c. rice, uncooked
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. mushrooms, sliced
3-4 chopped green onions
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 cans chicken broth
Butter to saute
Salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter and add rice, white onion, bell pepper and water chestnuts. Cook 5 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add broth and water, enough for package directions for this amount of rice. Cook 20 to 25 minutes. Saute mushrooms and green onions. Add to cooked rice along with the sausage.
