BAKED FISH SMOTHERED WITH GOODIES | |
2 lb. filet, haddock, halibut or flounder 1/4 c. oil 1/3 c. bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. parsley Melted butter 2 med. onions, cut up 12 mushrooms, sliced 1 c. slivered almonds Put fish in baking dish with oil. Allow to soak for 20 minutes. Remove fish. Put bread crumbs, paprika, parsley and lemon juice in dish with oil and mix well. Return fish to baking dish and cover with bread crumb mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until done, basting occasionally with melted butter. While baking, saute onions, mushrooms and almonds. Smother on top of fish when ready to serve. Serves 4. Yummy! |
