MEAT PIE 
1 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 lg. celery stalks
2 slices bread, toasted
3/4 lb. ground beef
3/4 lb. ground pork
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Water or chicken broth to moisten bread

In butter, cook chopped onion and chopped celery. Add bread and liquid until well moistened. Add meat and salt and pepper. Cook until meat is done, then add poultry seasoning. Makes a large 10 inch pie with your favorite pie crust. Pie should bake 35 to 40 minutes at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; 350 degrees for remainder.
