PEPPER POT 
1/2 lb. noodles
1 lb. ground pork sausage
1 (2 1/2 size) can tomatoes
1 onion
2 c. grated American cheese
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/8 c. pimento, cut in strips
1/2 tsp. sage
1 tbsp. shortening
Salt and pepper

Cook noodles in boiling water (salted) until tender. Drain. Melt shortening and fry onions, celery, and pepper until brown. Fry sausage in small pieces, separating it in small pieces with fork. Brown; combine with tomatoes, adding pimentos and seasoning. Place the cooked noodles in a baking pan and cover with combined mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
