MAYONNAISE CAKE 
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients. Mix mayonnaise, water and vanilla in separate bowl. Add mayonnaise mixture a little at a time to dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

I have found the frosting isn't quite enough for my taste, usually double except for sugar, 1 1/2 cups or so.

Mix frosting ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to boil for 1 minute. If you stir mixture in saucepan over cold water and ice constantly, this keeps it from crystalizing.
