HOT SPICED FRUIT 
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple spears
1 (16 oz.) can peach slices
1 (17 oz.) can figs
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Drain fruit and put in shallow casserole. Sprinkle on sugar, dot with butter and freeze.

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Unwrap frozen fruit, sprinkle with curry, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake 50 minutes. Serve with lamb, beef, pork, etc. Serves 12.
