Bake as directed and cool. 1 pkg. strawberry Jello (3 oz.) 2 tbsp. sugar 1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries (1 lb.)
Dissolve Jello in water and add frozen strawberries, stirring to break up and mix berries. Cut cake. Remove middle of cake and tear into small pieces. Fold pieces into strawberry mixture and pour into cake shell. Place layer on top. Whip cream until thick. Stir in sugar and few drops of food coloring until pink. Spread over top and sides of cake. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
