ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream Crisco, sugar and egg. Sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Form into 2 rolls. Roll in wax paper and put in refrigerator. When chilled slice and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees.
