LENTIL SOUP 
2 c. lentils
1 lb. hamburger
1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped carrots
1 tbsp. salt
1 red pepper
1 bay leaf
Pinch of oregano

Brown hamburger. Add all ingredients in large pot. Add water to cover and bring to boil. cover pot and simmer on low until vegetables are tender, approximately 30-40 minutes.
