BEEF ORIENTAL | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 6 green onions, cut into 1-inch lengths 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 3 stalks celery with leaves, cut diagonally 6-8 fresh mushrooms, sliced into T shapes 1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans, rinsed in hot water 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 3 c. cooked macaroni twirls (2 1/2 c. uncooked) 2 fresh tomatoes, cut in wedges 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Place ground beef and onions in wok. Turn heat to 375 degrees. Break hamburger into small pieces. Add onion, soy, ginger. Stir until meat is brown. Add celery and mushrooms; cook 2 minutes. Add green beans and tomato sauce. Stir 4-5 minutes. Add macaroni, tomatoes and 3/4 cup cheese. Stir gently to combine all ingredients. Heat 1 minute. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. |
