BEST-OF-THE-WEST SPREAD 
1/4 c. roasted unblanched almonds (may use pecans), chopped
2 strips bacon, fried and drained
1 c. Velveeta, grated and packed
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. green onions or chives, chopped

Finely chop onions, crumble bacon and mix all ingredients together. If you have a food processor, chop almonds, bacon, green onions first. Add other ingredients and blend well. Spread on crackers and bread rounds.
