OKRA ITALIAN 
1 pkg. frozen okra
1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
2 med. mushrooms, sliced
1/4 of a red bell pepper, chopped or diced
1 can tomato sauce
1 lb. sausage, any kind you like, sliced at an angle or diced
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 lb. shrimp

Place oil in a skillet and let heat. When the oil is hot, place frozen okra into the skillet. Let it simmer on medium heat until the slimy liquid is just about gone. Add pepper and mushrooms. Simmer about 5 more minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and black pepper. Simmer 5 more minutes. Add sausage and shrimp. Simmer until both are done. Serve over rice. Serves 6.
