CINNAMON BUNS
Cinnamon buns, sticky buns - whatever you call them - they're a nice change of pace for breakfast.

DOUGH:

1 tbsp. (1/4 oz. packet) dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
3 1/4 c. flour
4 tbsp. butter, softened
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk (heated)
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Mix the milk, sugar, salt, butter, cinnamon and eggs in a large bowl and let cool to lukewarm. Stir the yeast into warm water and let stand for 5 minutes to dissolve. Add yeast to flour, beating well. Cover and let rise in warm place for about 1 hour. Add remaining flour and blend in well. Knead until smooth and elastic.

Put dough in buttered bowl, cover, and let rise to about double in bulk. Punch down, shape rolls and let rise (about 1 hour). Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes Remove from oven. Spread sugar frosting over top while still hot. Enjoy!
