QUICK CINNAMON ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. water
1 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. shortening, melted
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 well beaten egg
3 1/2 c. flour

Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water, add next 5 ingredients. Stir and add 1/2 of flour and beat; add enough of remaining flour to make an easily stirrable dough. Cover; let rise until double; stir down. Pour onto well floured board. Sprinkle with flour and pat into rectangle. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle on brown sugar and cinnamon, roll and cut with floured knife. Place in greased oblong pan, let rise. Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
