2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
28 oz. jar mince meat
2 c. mixed candied fruit
1 can condensed milk
2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped

Grease a spring pan well. Line with brown paper and grease again. Sift flour and baking powder and set aside. Combine eggs, mince meat, condensed milk, fruit and nuts. Fold in dry ingredients (by hand). Pour into pan and bake at 300 degree oven for 2 hours or until center springs back when touched and top is golden. Cool in pan then turn out and wrap for storing.
