MAGGIE'S STRAWBERRY TRIFLE 
3 c. vanilla pudding, instant or canned
2 (10 oz.) angel food cakes or pound cakes
2 qts. strawberries
16 oz. container Cool Whip
2 oz. sliced almonds

Tear angel food cakes into bite size pieces. Slice strawberries. Place one layer of cake pieces on the bottom of a large decorative clear glass bowl. Top with a thin layer of pudding. Top this with a layer of strawberries; then spread with a layer of Cool Whip. Repeat 2 more times, using all ingredients. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and chill.
