COWBOY GOULASH | |
My family and I usually enjoy this meal cooked in a dutch oven over an open campfire. 1 lb. ground beef 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1 medium onion, chopped 2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes 2 (10 oz. ea.) cans tomato soup 1 (15 oz.) can whole corn 1 (15 oz.) can black beans 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans 1 (10 to 16 oz.) pkg. pasta (elbow, bow tie or shells) water Brown hamburger, add in drained mushrooms and onion and continue cooking until onions are transparent. Transfer to a large cooking pot and add stewed tomatoes and the tomato soup. Add one to two soup cans of water. Bring just to a boil and add in corn, black beans and kidney beans. Bring just to a boil. Add in pasta and follow the cooking time on the box. Note: You may need to add more liquid depending on how much pasta you plan to use. Enjoy! Submitted by: NC |
