CHICHARROVES DE POLLO | |
MARINADE: 1 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/3 c. lemon juice 1 tsp. salt INGREDIENTS: 1 (3 lb.) frying chicken (or the equivalent in pieces) 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 c. flour 1 tsp. ground white pepper Skin chicken; remove excess fat and chop into bite-sized pieces. Marinate in soy sauce and lemon juice for at least 2 hours (or overnight) in the refrigerator. Combine flour, salt, paprika and white pepper in a large Ziploc bag. Toss the cut up bits in the seasoned flour and fry at 365 degrees until brown and crisp. Serve hot or cold. (I fry mine in a Fry Baby.) |
